My next project is easily the most ambitious one Ive ever undertaken. Weve picked a total of 15 songs out of the 45 demos we made. This was done with a very helpful trial audience who have our gratitude. Only 12 -13 songs will go on the album and the rest will be bonuses to be released at a later date, or given to special fans who prove their awesomeness. Ive been working on this project since August 2013 and put in together with my partner between 10 - 15 hours a week, usually, with about 3 hours of travel time for each session. This has been very hard since it is in addition to my full time day job, but I have absolutely no regrets and am loving it! Ive completed lyrics for more than half of the album so far and have about 4 to go. Structures for most of the songs are complete and we are rapidly approaching the final stages after which we will record the tracks properly. It is extremely eclectic and we will most likely only be able to define it properly once its complete. But we will be focusing on guitars and electronics with more hard-hitting tracks and the piano will only be present for a few tracks. Its an opportunity to explore different things. I am beyond excited and cant wait for us to finish so I can share it with you! Stay tuned for more updates.... You can HELP out by buying some merchandise to help cover some of our costs.
