My niece stopped by to visit and extend her gratitude for connecting her with someone at the University of Nebraska at Omaha to discuss possible enrollment and scholarship/financial assistance. She said: Oh aunty Nellie, thank you very much, the meeting was really nice and the school (UNO) is willing to offer me a huge financial assistance for my college education. I always tell all of you young people, especially my young Liberians, that aunty Nellie does not have gold or diamond or wealth to share with any of you but will do her best whatever way possible to assist you obtain a higher education. I have been in the system and I know how to network to help you guys-remember I lived on campus for six good years to obtain both my bachelor and master degree and if I can do it for other students that I work with, what more about you, my precious young Liberians? There are endless opportunities here for you, especially those of you who were born in America or came here at a very young age, but is left with you to utilize them or follow the wrong crowd and mess your future up! Good luck, sweet heart and we are in this together until the final application process is completed. Way to go, I am very proud of you!!!
