My night time adventure across the island up through the misty COLD mountains of Kintamani as I descended in the dark of night to the warmer shores of Bondelem. NO idea where I was going but trusting my trustworthy Spirit to get me there. As always it did and I arrived at 8pm to a spectacular villa, with a beautiful fish dinner waiting for me. Lulled to sleep by the ocean of which I had no idea the place I was going was on the sea so was pleasantly surprised. The next morning I actually slept till 7am without my friendly alarm clock roosters to wake me up before dawn! I was checking out the villa for future retreats so it was a good excuse to take a well deserved break after a month of teaching and being the in-house therapist for Sacred Circularities! The waterfall was my next stop and to visit James. Oh to be barefoot for a day, sipping on coconuts, having cosmic conversations, praying and playing didg, cleansed by the waterfall as she pounded vitality back into every cell of my body, surrounded by circles of rainbow light after a night of sleeping under the stars by the glow of the nights fire. The drive home in the daylight was beautiful drinking in the lush green of Bali as the wind blew through my hair, the day before Mother Day and I fell sooo free, no one to answer to but me! I stopped at a coffee farm to buy some cacao hence why at 3:30am I am still wide awake....they gave me free samples of coffee and Im a light weight when it comes to the effects of coffee! So happy to have a home to come home to and the first thing I did was plant, some lemongrass,aloevera and jack fruit seeds which had germinated while I was away! Then made a rocking set list for my 5Elements Dance class and headed in to Taksu to teach! Thanks you to all who turned up, especially Cameron and Pierre, so wonderful to have more men in the space! I felt the energy of The Earth Mother I had filled up on in the day move through me on the dance floor and so did everybody else! we ended in an exquisite deep silence that was so still and profound you could tangibly feel the Presence! What a perfect way to enter into MOTHERS DAY! So firstly to the Great Cosmic Mother of us all,Queen of the water, the mountains, the trees, She who gave us this flesh and bone temple with a beating heart an eyes to bear witness, She who lay with Spirit so that we were birthed into matter, I thank you with all of me heart. And to my own mother, I thank you for birthing me into this world, for loving me, feeding me from your breast, spanking me when I was out of line, and cooking for me and our family endlessly! May you have a beautiful day in your garden and may the daffodils and tulips pop out of the spring ground to greet you on Mothers Day! And to my children, fruit of my womb, not a day goes by that I do not think of you, miss you and send you love praying you are happy, healthy and pursuing your passion. Thanks for making me a mom! It was the best job I have had yet in this life time! Thank you and Happy first Mothers Day to Lila for bringing Mana my first Grand Baby into this world, enjoy those precious moments as they fly by all too quickly! And Lastly, to all the beautiufl Mothers in this world Happy Day to you...those who have children and those who dont we have all mothered each other and other peoples children and we are all doing the best we can! So hats off to you!! OMG is this coffee ever going to wear off so I can go back to sleep?? Maybe Ill just sit an meditate and wiat for the new day to dawn! ONELOVE Malaika
