My nightmare has come true. This is not an original post in this group, but its finally happened to me (I expected it would sooner than later). I just got my lease renewal, and my rent is skyrocketing even more than it did last year (and it was ridiculous last year). Within the past two years, its shot up by nearly $300 more per month for my rent-stabilized unit. I love Kensington and dont want to leave. Please tell me theres hope for a 1-bedroom for about $1,400/month!
