My no.1 custom 808 is being retired :-( She has performed (conservatively) about 1500 gigs - the number that is the performances were certainly not conservative! But after ump-teen re-frets, ump-teen bracing repairs (ump-teen is a real word!), split tops, and more, its time to let the old girl rest.. (even though its still an amazing guitar! I first received and played her on the night of the very first gig i did with Brooke (McClymont) .... (new guitar and getting to back Brooke and her amazing voice was a pretty cool night!) Thanks to the good people at Maton Guitars a new Diesel Mini is being built and will soon be in my hands to take over... Thanks Maton
