We would live differently depending what time were in. Ex: if you knew you only had days to live you would live differently than if you knew you had decades. Matt 24:3- what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age? Genes take- seeing the fulfillment of prophecy in 8 trips to Israel. 1. The re-gathering of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. Jer 16:14-5; Isa 11:20-21 2. The reclamation of the land of Israel. Ez 36:35 Valley of Armegeddon was malaria infested, now highest food producing/ sq ft of land in the world 3. The rebirth of Israel as a nation in May 14, 1948. Ez 37:11; Matt 24:32-34 Some think the fig tree example in Matt 24 might mean Israel. 2 Peter 3:3 Above all, scoffers will come and follow their own desires. Question where Christ is? Forget long ago Creation happened Present Heaven and Earth reserved for fire... 1,000 years is but a day to God and vice versa- God doesnt live in time like we do God wants to give everyone a chance to know Him 1. People are going to be distracted by life- doing only what THEY want 2. People are going to forget God 3. People are not going to be ready Whether or not were living in our last days... you are living in your last days. Stats... SAD! Builder gen- 1927-1945 - 65% Bible driven followers Boomers- 1946-64 - 35% Bible driven followers Busters- 1965-1983 - 16% Bible driven followers Bridgets- 1984-today - 4% Bible driven followers Matt 24:36 If not even Jesus knows why do you think men would?? What we should be doing in the meantime? 1 Peter 4:7 1. I need to THINK CLEARLY Be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Prayer has a way of connecting you to the UNSEEN realm 1 Peter 4:8-9 2. I need to FOCUS ON MY RELATIONSHIPS Love each other deeply 1 Peter 4:10 3. I need to MAKE A DIFFERENCE Serve others with your gifts 1 Peter 4:11; 2 Peter 3:11-18 4. I need to receive Gods grace Speak and serve by the strength of God Live holy and Godly lives Bear in mind that our Lords patience means salvation... Stats... AMAZING!! More people have come to faith in Jesus in the last 10 yrs than the previous 2,000 yrs combined!!! 7 million muslims converting to Christianity a year!!!
