My obligatory Comm games netball grand final status: Im not one to bag out umpires at this level because Ive never umpired AUS vs NZ so all I will say is, its a shame the best umpire in the world, Sharon Kelly, cannot umpire the grand final contested by the best two countries because she is from one of those countries. I think when we associate umpires of any sport from their club, state or country we question their professionalism. The word bias suggests a cheat... If we cannot show at the top level that an umpire can be professional, how can we expect umpires down the ranks to be respected.
