My open letter, regarding Clevo s supposed departure. It seems - TopicsExpress

My open letter, regarding Clevo s supposed departure. It seems Tom Cleverley is certain to leave us. It wasnt just his fault that he wasnt performing well, but even we, his so called well wishers are at fault. The transition period requires players to be at their toes and after playing under Scholesy s shadow since the start, it was tougher. He did show Paul Scholes-esque brilliance here and there but the fire inside him turned blue. In order to get his career back on track, he must move. A move would suit him more than it would suit us. He still has many years of Football to play and a club like Aston Villa can provide you that. Id prefer him scoring against us if our paths cross again. Itd teach the United fans a lesson, lesson we have learnt only from Ronaldo s case. I criticised him, but I never hated him. Maybe, he wasnt just good enough for Manchester United. He was my second favorite player in the 2012-13 season, and how well do I remember his picture perfect strike against Newcastle. His confidence struck rock bottom when he was being labelled as a scapegoat under Moyes. Even today, trolls about him are abound every corner of this football world and it just goes to show how cruel the world can be to you during rocky times. Clevo has still got potential to be a top drawer player and he needs to have the confidence about fulfilling that potential. Id be actually sad to see Clevo leave. He showed glimpses of achieving greatness with a burning fire inside him. But now, it has turned blue. And for the better, it maybe time to move on. Adios Amigo, Clevo #KP
