My panel today with Nicole Louise Reid and Rita Mae Reese on unlikable narrators went well, I thought. Good presentation of work, and I got to talk about Hegel and donuts, which is basically my measure of success for any public discussion. Then we ate some tasty (though perhaps over-priced) food. And before our panel, I went to a really cool one on obscure high-art vampire literature by the likes of Carlos Fuentes and Aleksei Tolstoy (second cousin of the other Tolstoy). Now, its time for a brief nap before re-entering the fray.
