My parents refused counseling. They dont have a problem. The rest of the world has a problem. Uh huh. Thats why I left, and wont go back. They might have been toxic when I was a kid, but it quickly grew into abuse. Im also tired of people saying its not abuse if it doesnt leave scars or bruises. Believe me, emotional & mental abuse is just as bad, if not worse. Quote: There is a difference between abuse and toxicity, and abusive behavior is intolerable.
