My personal opinion. Michael Brown was a punk whose parents had not a clue on how to raise a child. It is sad, to me as a Christian, when anyone dies in sin, without salvation or forgiveness. I cannot applaud his death for that reason. But neither can I applaud his life. Lots of kids grow up in homes where the parents are clueless and turn out to be successful and law abiding. He was old enough to be held accountable for his choices. The young boy with the toy gun, Tamir Rice..... This truly was a tragedy and I believe the police officer over reacted. I see his case was not taken up by the race baiters though. I have to wonder why. Then there is the man in NYC who was killed while being arrested for selling single cigarettes... Eric Garner. First, I dont agree with the law against selling single cigarettes, it is a big government law designed to do nothing more than bring in revenue. So to claim the man was breaking the law is what a liberal would say in my opinion. Did the police have a right to arrest him, yes they did. Did they use excessive force, I believe they did. But no matter what you think about that law, the ends clearly did not justify the means. A man should not die for selling cigarettes, even if DeBlasio would not collect the tax on them. Did the police over react? Yes they did. Did anyone see this mans wifes reaction? She didnt want him becoming a poster child for cop haters and point blank said so. Do the race baiters care? So what am I getting at? Socialists look at people as demographic statistics, they are not individuals to them. Just numbers, maybe names on a protest sign. Each of these cases were about individuals... and to make them part of the collective propaganda is not honoring them at all, they are being used by progressives as statistics who happen to have names... to further the end of law and order in our country.
