What a day, what a day. While my darling sister was playing the violin at a wedding in Elizabethtown, I was heading north to Tweed to perform a wedding....OUTSIDE. Well, it wasnt actually Tweed. It was....Upper Flinton Road....OUTSIDE....it was beautiful by the river in the middle of nowhere. The road advised not to enter without 4 wheel drive, but hey, I grew up in the banana belt and if nothing else, my Dad taught me to drive in the snow. Thankfully, I arrived one minute before it began and thankfully, I had thrown my old cowboy boots in the car. There was a lovely path adorned with pastel Ranunculus, which was also made up the Bridal Bouquet. And as I made by way down the path, to be followed by the Bride and her parents, I had to dig my heels into the snow up to my ankles to keep from falling. The Bride had beautiful bright coral shoes which she left in the house. The Bride wore Uggs. Memorable to be sure.
