My post reminded me - and some of the responses reminded me of a Word I got in worship one Sunday. I heard Holy Spirit say How can my people be so close to Me, and yet at the same time be so far away? Having the assignment of getting His people out of Egypt - I clearly understood what He meant. You dont come close to EL Shaddai, EL Elyon, El Roi, Jehovah - Jireh/Rapha/Nissi/Shalom/Tsidkanu and stay the same. The closer you get to Him in Name the more of Him you BECOME. You also can be close to Him in one Name and FAR from Him in another. And theres one more truth - when youre not close to Him - YOU ARE BLIND TO HIM as that name and usually will fight others who are. All because youre not close. Not that He doesnt want you. Sadly, MANY are far from El Shaddai - and because of this the support and backing of poverished conditions and Christians rise. What pastor or minister is pleased with seeing any part of your life in lack baffles me. And to give you text of being content lends support to satans ultimate objective and that is to stop the advancing of Gods Kingdom. The other sad reality is that siblings call other siblings wrong because they are closer to Him in other areas than they are, not knowing that they can have the same closeness. Thats what the older brother of the prodigal sons problem was - In the house but no relationship with His dad. People get close to your Dad. He saves in every area NOT JUST FROM HELL.
