My prayer for the day is: Faith That God is Able; Faith That God is Able: Luke 18: 8; I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Many of us have experienced at the hands of authority figures, such as family-court judges, mean bosses, or parole officers. This story contrasts God with the unfair judge and makes the point that even if life is unfair, God is fair. If an evil judge finally answers the pleas of a persistent widow, how much more will a just God respond to those in need who pray to him in faith. The possibilities of prayer are measured by faith in Gods ability to do. Faith gives character to prayer. A feeble faith has always brought forth feeble praying . Vigorous faith creates vigorous praying. We need quickening faith in Gods power. We have restricted God to fit into our world, and now we have little faith in his power. We have made him a little God through our little faith. I pray, God, that you will increase my faith in your ability to accomplish anything. What is impossible for man or woman is possible with you. Glory to your name. Amen.
