My precious husband and I grew up within ten miles of one another. - TopicsExpress

My precious husband and I grew up within ten miles of one another. He went to Comer, I went to Childersburg. We each marched in the band. I never met him. Funny thing is, he and my first husband (my childrens father) were good friends throughout high school. For 18 years, I heard tales of Arnold Shaw and what a great guy he was. But I never met him. Sometimes I think about that... how many times our paths mustve crossed during our lives. And I wish I had a magic camera that would let me view those little moments. Hmm. Anyway, in the spring of 11, a doctor with whom Arnold worked came into Airgas. I may have waited on him, I dont know. But he went back to work and told Arnold about me. When Arnold came in, I was busy at my desk. He didnt get to talk to me. But later, when I was processing tickets and saw his signature, I thought, Arnold Shaw. WHERE do I know that name?... And I remembered. :) A while later, I saw him on fb- hed commented on a mutual friends post. I could see he was a widower. I sent him a friend request. We never talked on here. For a few months, wed just like each others stuff. lol Then one day (with all his coworkers urging, Im sure), he sent me a message asking me to a Barons game. I was scared to death, but talked myself into it. It only took him five dates to get up the nerve to hold my hand. ;) And I liked that. Ive never met anyone as genuinely kind-hearted, humble, loving... perfect. The man is absolutely perfect. And even though Id love to be able to go back and have the first half of my life to live over with him, I know God has perfect timing... and Im thankful for him and for all the wonderful memories were making every day. I adore you, Arnold Shaw- and I cant wait to spend the rest of my life loving you.
