My previous post is not a political rant in any way. I am honestly curious to hear any serious answers to the increasing urban poverty in NC. Macro-level policies. Not just about bettering K-12 education (which is of course, part of the problem). But (Macro) Economic theories, Political theories... How do we improve NC for *everyone* in this state? For the haves and the have-nots. (See my post below about FOUR NC cities being among the TOP 10 for increasing poverty rates in the United States.) Serious answers only please, and no rants about our current NC legislature. How do we move forward? How do we IMPROVE our state rather than continuing to slide backward? Does the answer lie ONLY in electoral politics? And...Josh Stein, when will you be running for higher office?
