My project for the weekend? Fit a factory nudge bar to Dads x-trail, should only take a few hours. My wifes project this weekend? Buy a dishwasher and remote controlled robo-vaccum and watch both of them do the housework. For me, 12 hours later and the nudge bar is done, my hands are grazed to the bone and the supposed factory nudge bar needed the chassis rail moved, spacers installed, longer HT bolts purchased, and all up, yeah, Im exhausted. Chatting on SMS back and for with a very unhelpful distributor, I have no doubt they sent me the bar suited to a Petrol car not Diesel where the inter-cooler wouldnt be in the way of 10mm thick steel brackets that wrap around the chassis rail. Funny that his smss seemed to stop when he realised the car was a diesel and hence had an intercooler. Yeah thanks, such a great weekend. :( At least the house work was done by the remote controlled robots.
