My rant and some questions: My interpretation of history is that since the beginning of Israels existence, all the countries in that region have been chomping at the bit to destroy them. 1948, 1st day after England leaves, Israel is attacked. 1967, Israel attacks after realizing Egypt has gathered the region for an all out war (tanks and troops were set up all along the Israeli border). Fanaticism from that region, with numerous groups declaring Israel the enemy simply bc they are Jewish; including the Hamas, is constant. Now...Has Israel been brutal in return? Yes. I do disagree with the level of brutality at times but understand where its coming from. There are multiple Muslim, Christian, etc... States. There is one Jewish state thats about the size of New Jersey. I feel for the Palestinian refugees and innocent Palestinian civilians but thats really another subject. Whats happening now seems to be the result of fanaticism and hatred towards Israel... and Israels brutal response. Am I missing something here? I dont get all of the Israel negatively; they appear to be a country stuck in the middle of a Hornets nest... Crazy shit gonna go down. How would the US respond if our bordering neighbors were fanatical in its attempts to destroy us? I doubt very kindly.
