My rant for the day...The Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton, who is a Democrat, has publicly stated that the Minnesota Vikings need to suspend Adrian Peterson. I give Dayton some credit since he stated that due process should occur and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. However, I wonder if Mr. Dayton would say a suspension is warranted if it was another public figure say...a politician! Its a fine line that we walk, how much power do we give an accuser over the accused, until the accused is found guilty? Of course the truth does not always come out in a court room. My opinion for the day...Yes he should be suspended with pay, given the fact that he states yes he did, so the question now is, does a jury of his peers (not really sure what that means...others who whip their kids, others who live in his neighborhood or others that geographically live near him but no weight place on economic or social background.) find his conduct, to be beyond a reasonable doubt, unreasonable in his actions! Ok, I am done!
