My rant for today. Best damn nation on the surface of the planet! And before anyone say it? Yes. It has made some mistakes. Some really bad, some not so much. But if youre going to run her down for that? Then let me ask you a couple a questions. Are YOU perfect? Have YOU ever made mistakes? And if its so bad? Why then are you still living here in it? Theres no chains on your ass holding you to the ground here - so GO! Go elsewhere! Go to where you think things are better! I believe the overwhelming majority of people here who are citizens still love this country and the life it affords them. Why arent they then speaking up and out in defense of it? They are! However, as a nation we have enemies. Some vocal and up front about it, some underhanded and sneaky. Those enemies have captured and now control those venues that pick and choose who will be heard and who will not be heard. While decent Americans who love this nation, like those heard here in the video, and the others like Ive mentioned, have been hard at work building a life for themselves and their loved ones. Our enemies have been hard at work as well. Tirelessly working hard as well. Not for a good life, but to destroy the one others are working so hard to build. And theyre winning! Why are they winning? Unfortunately we who love America have been fast asleep, as it were. Not realizing others were here, or even watching out for those others. Others who have silently slipped in under the guise of being ordinary Americans and who have been able to infect a sizable portion of our population with well crafted lies. Lies mixed with the truth and made to lure as many unsuspecting Americans into their grasp and manipulation as they could. If you didnt know it before, or ever gave it much thought prior, now you know. We are all in a war that will never end. It is a war with evil personified. Although there is one certainly, it is not a war with terrorism or terrorists, per se. It is a war for the soul of a nation. OUR nation! And if we dont all get up off our well fed asses and get into that war - for real? Stop being apathetic and lazy, assuming that someone else will ride in and save us all? Then were going to lose that war! Sure as the sun rises and the world turns! If we do? If the forces arrayed against us, both from without, and more importantly from within, continue to win as they have already? If we lose? Well then....theres nowhere else for us to run to. THIS is the last bastion of freedom. THIS is the worlds last best hope for freedom and self governance. If we lose? We will have first of all lost the single greatest society and country ever conceived of and built by human beings in all the history of mankind. We will have consigned the rest of humanity, along with ourselves, into a life of drudgery and slavery at the hands of those who hold no respect for human dignity or freedom, or even for life itself. We will have literally robbed our children, as well as all those who will come after us, of their future. They will never know the quality of life which we have. If any of us be believers in a God? Then know with certainty that we will have severely disappointed that God, and thwarted His will for us, and all of mankind. Why, if there be a God, do you suppose He allowed this nation to come into existence? Have we not been the defenders of human rights, dignity and freedom for others for almost as long as we have been in existence? None of that was by chance. It was Divine Will! We, as a nation of people who, knowing how man should, could, and has lived by our experiencing it, defines us as those who are, and always will be, the instruments of that Divine Will! Think! Think of the breathtaking beauty of this vast nation! All that is in it, and a part of it. We have, either by fate, or Divine Will, all been given caretaker status of all this nation is. All that it ever was, and still stands for today! Many before us have willingly gone to their own deaths in staunch defense of all this nation is and stands for. And now it is our turn at bat. Our turn to step up and be counted. For freedom and all that is good about life, liberty, and our fellow human beings - where ever they may reside! Damn it! Lets do this! Light against the forces of darkness will always win out. But not of its own accord. There must needs be those brave souls who are, knowing the difference between the two, willing to set aside mundane personal pursuits and FIGHT for it! Why are we all really here? In this life living it? If not to be an instrument of one or the other? I believe this is a nation that was allowed to be for a reason. Because of that reason right now there is war for the soul of it. Between the forces of light, and those of the dark. In this war there can be no fence sitting. Not to choose to act is still a choice! But is it the one you would really choose if it came down to it? How will you answer when the time comes to stand before your God and He asks of you: I gave you so much. What did you do with it? How did you show your gratitude for all you were given when that moment came, as it does for all at some point, for you to either turn a blind eye to wrong, or do what you knew was right? There is NO FREE LUNCH! We must all, at some point, pay for what weve been given in this life. And I dont mean work or in dollars! We all of us owe something, or someone (far far greater than ourselves) for the time and goods weve been allowed to have and enjoy. None of us will get out alive and unscathed, or without paying that price - one way or another. Capeesh? Now is our collective time. Right here, right now. Were all either going to put actions to our words or were not. Talk, as they say, is cheap. Regardless of how intelligent and well spoken we are, or can be? No matter how craftily we can spin situations, or spout all those things that limited us and kept us from doing what we knew we should? No matter how slick we are at making ourselves out to always be in the right? No matter how good we are at convincing ourselves that we did all we could? In the final analysis none of us is going to fool fate, or God, the stars, the heavens, or whatever, or whomever. Whatever one personally believes? We will all one day have to answer for our allotted time here. By historians, by our beliefs, and by our children. Even by all those of the future whose fate rests upon the decisions and actions which we make right now. We all one day will be weighed on the scales of universal justice. Wont be no good excuses then,my brother. Not when that time of accounting is at hand.... We all of us right now, both as a nation of Americans, and as individuals, have the rare chance to tip those scales of justice. On earth, and even after. Do any of us really want to be found wanting?
