My response to a highly biased e-mail I received, and my responses are in Quotations(xxxx). I hope anyone who has military background, or is an American, will forward this. If you are not a veteran send this to those that you know who are, or to those who may know veterans Glad to do so! I have already shared this amended e-mail to everyone I can possibly think of and posted it to numerous social media outlets as well, and I encourage you to do the same! Its time we rid ourselves of treasonous political organizations (Republicans AND Democrats) and take back the government for We the PEOPLE… (The 2014 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested in this election. Get out and VOTE!!) I strongly urge everyone that is planning to vote in the coming election to become better educated voters! Please research ALL candidates for any given elected office. INCLUDING non-mainstream candidates (e.g. Libertarian, Green, Constitutionalist, Independent, Green…etcetera). Why? For the past 150+ years our political process has been co-opted and corrupted by two political parties ( Republicans and Democrats) for their own benefit to the detriment of our republic and its constituents. The two dominant political parties have hijacked our democratic political process and have passed legislation and used other methods (Gerrymandering, Voter ID laws, litigation…etc.) to consolidate their power and eliminate any third party from challenging their dominance. For more than 150 years these two parties have controlled the direction of our nation, and what have they done? So we have been involved in some form of conflict or warfare for more than 150 years. Isnt it about time we give our military a break from unnecessary loss of life, and stop spending TRILLIONS of dollars we DO NOT HAVE? I strongly urge you to read the book War is a racket by former Marine 2-star General and 2-time Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Smedley Darlington Butler. Both of the two dominant political parties (RNC & DNC) have been using the United States Military as their own personal army to further their own personal political and economic interests. Stop sending our soldiers to die for all the WRONG reasons! THIS NEEDS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY! 2) Systematically constrained and crippled our economic policies, turning total control of our economy over to a PRIVATE BANK, via the Federal Reserve act of 1913. Which, by the way is COMPLETELY UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND ILLEGAL! 3) Spent OUR money haphazardly and with complete disregard for the taxpayer…and our ability to re-pay the debt. We are now approximately $17,000,000,000,000 (Trillion) Dollars in debt to a PRIVATE BANK, which represents about 72% of our Gross Domestic Product. Soon the interest payments alone will exceed our annual tax revenues, and we will undergo a major economic crisis! 4) Passed legislation restricting, changing and even suspending ALL citizens civil rights and personal liberty. Both parties have enacted legislation which is both un-constitutional and illegal, including (but not limited to…), U.S.A.P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act, National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, suspension of the Possee Comitatus Act and much more. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights has been systematically destroyed by these two political parties! 5) Both parties have utilized underhanded and devious tactics to marginalize and eliminate any possible competition to their stranglehold on our government. Anyone seeking an elected political office must either join either the RNC or DNC in order to have any chance of becoming elected. If they run as a third party or independent candidate they are belittled, berated, slandered, marginalized, restricted by frivolous litigation and prohibitive electoral requirements designed and enacted by both dominant political organizations. Both parties have also corrupted and dominated the mass-medias reporting on politics, and actively discourage any coverage of anyone else but the two dominant political parties! Have you become mass-media brainwashed into believing that we only have two viable choices for governance? We need to start asking the media about ALL OUR CHOICES, not just the mainstream ones. These are just a few of the numerous reasons we need to send a clear and shocking wake-up call to our political officeholders. Stop voting for BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATIC candidates! Educate yourself on ALL of your choices, and vote for an INDEPENDENT or Third party candidate instead. This will send a clear message to both the dominant parties that we are aware of their malfeasance and will no longer accept their type of governance. There are many extremely good and qualified candidates for you to vote for that are not Republican OR Democrat, find the one you can agree with and accept and vote for them instead! For more than 150 years we have been repeating the same mistake over and over by electing either a Republican OR Democrat to office, its about time we tried something (and someone) different…maybe then we will see a REAL change for the betterment of not only our nation, but the entire world! “Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” ― Albert Einstein Currently both the U.S. Congress and Senate have less than a 10% approval rating by the people. Can you explain why we keep re-electing the same Congressmen and Senators allied with the two major political parties? If theyre doing such a bad job then its time to GET RID OF THEM BOTH! So if you consider yourself a Patriot, and think this country can once again become a respected and revered nation, PLEASE VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT the Republican or Democratic candidates! Become a vigilant and educated voter and vote your conscience accordingly! A movement has been started by our armed forces to get out the vote in 2014. They are organizing themselves, but this can be done by all of us. The President, the Golfer in Chief, has made the Rules of Engagement (ROE) so difficult, that our troops are often killed before they can even get permission to fight. Nothing has been done to stop our troops from being murdered by the Afghanis they are training, either. End all involvement in overseas conflicts immediately, shut down 80% of all overseas military bases and bring our troops home to secure our country! Stop getting involved in other nations internal affairs and conflicts! However as long as we keep electing Republicans and Democrats NOTHING WILL CHANGE, and our soldiers will continue to die needlessly. Now, the President wants the US to sign on to the UNs International Criminal Court (ICC), which would allow the UNs ICC to arrest and try US troops for War Crimes, without the legal protections guaranteed under US Law, and from which there is no appeal. Do NOT allow this to happen! The President, with his Democratic control of the Senate, has nearly all the power. If the Non-Establishment Republicans, and Conservatives, can take back the Senate in 2014, our troops can once again be protected from unnecessary danger. Please consider this, and send it on to your mailing lists. BOTH the Republicans AND Democrats are responsible for the current mess we find ourselves in, partisan politics is actively hindering our ability to come to a negotiated position on an issue. Remember when their bi-partisan bickering and stonewalling SHUT DOWN our government? Get rid of them both, there are plenty of good, qualified conservative candidates that are NOT affiliated with either the DNC or RNC! Thank You. Interestingly enough, when George W Bush was President you heard about the military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan almost daily. With Obama in the White House, the mainstream media has been strangely quiet. --- More than 1,000 American soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan in the last 27 months. This is more than the combined total of the nine years before. Thirty have died in August. During the last month, over 50 additional NATO and US servicemen have been murdered, inside jobs by those who are hired to be a force for good in Afghanistan .. A reinforced Marine battalion is +-1.000 men. A perfect example of how ALL our mass-media has been corrupted by the major political parties! The American citizenry was misled and LIED to, involving us in an un-necessary conflict WE STARTED! By the George W. Bush administration! We should have never done this and every American soldier killed in this conflict was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY! The commander in chief is AWOL. Not a peep, although he ordered the White House flag flown at half-staff for the Sikhs that were killed. There is a deep disgust, a fury, growing in the ranks of the military against the indifferent incompetence of this President. Our current administration is just as bad as the previous one! Both Republican and Democratic candidates for President promised some kind of change, but both our Foreign and domestic policies have not changed at all, they are seemingly identical. Until we stop voting for these major political parties NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE! It has taken on a dangerous tone. No one knows what to do about him, but the anger runs deep as the deaths continue with no strategic end in sight to the idiocy of this war. Obama has had 4 years to end this futile insanity, during which time he has vacationed, golfed, campaigned, and generally ignored the plight of our men and women in uniform. The EXACT same can be said for the previous administration…NO CHANGE WHATSOEVER! But, there is now a movement afoot in the armed services to launch a massive get out the vote drive against this president. Not just current active duty types, but the National Guard, Reserves, the retired, and all other prior service members. This is no small special interest group, but many millions of veterans who can have an enormous impact on the outcome of the November election if they all respond. The biggest impact we could have is to send a clear and shocking message to our elected officials, is to overwhelming vote for Independent and Third Party candidates instead of Republicans and Democrats! Thus breaking their restrictive and detrimental stranglehold on our Constitutional Republic and democratic electoral process. The one million military retirees in Florida alone could mean an overwhelming victory in that state if they all show up at the polls. It might not keep another one hundred U.S. troops from dying between now and November, but a turn out to vote by the military against this heart breaking lack of leadership can make a powerful statement that hastens a change to the indifference of this shallow little man who just lets our soldiers die. It would be even more meaningful if these same million people voted for ANYONE BUT a Republican or Democrat! Think for yourself for once and actually educate yourself about your choice for an elected office, rather than just relying on the mass-media to brainwash you into one group or another. So help me God.. Remember, BOTH of the major political parties have systematically DESTROYED the CONSTITUTION and its AMENDMENTS (Bill of Rights)…by voting for either the Republican OR Democrat party you are desecrating your oath of service. You allegiance lies with the CONSTITUTION…NOT A POLITICAL PARTY!
