My #review of Erik - the 9th Discworld book by Terry Pratchett is now on #Goodreads It was a fun read, but thanks perhaps to having read all the previous entries in the series at a trot, it was also a bit of a slog for me. Id not recommend it as an entry-point into Discworld; though it is a standalone, Rincewind and the Luggage would be inexplicable to new readers, and their rich history adds layers to the narrative.
