My room-mates have got to be the most awesome roomies a Father & Son could possibly ask for! Beyond being merely my landlords, they also happen to be my Friends. Ever since Miss Brenda, Chance and I moved in together, there has been nothing but honesty, trust, gratitude, openness and courtesy between us. I have had many different shared-home experiences, sometimes even with Family. Some either seemed forced and generally uncomfortable after about a month, others were just a mistake from the start. Damned if living with Family wasnt, by far, the worst, though---being taken for granted, looked down upon and treated like a second-class citizen, having no avenue in which to talk about issues before they fester.That shit will become toxic to the situation and inevitably dissolves just about any living arrangements in a very short time, indeed. But Debra Ann Moser & Bret Barton are nothing like anyone one else I have roomed with in over 20 years. We share a huge, beautiful home, are able to make ourselves at home in the main floor living areas (i.e, the kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom), watch their big-ass flat-screen or play on the Wii even---if nobody else is using it! Bret regularly cooks some amazing grub, often BBQ or grilling something that easily satisfies the Carnasaurus in me and my Son. And Miss Debra has been indispensable when I might need to do some shopping or picking up my meds and whatnot. Chance and I both have managed to survive fairly well on what can only be described as a severely limited income because she is fair about the rent & utilities. So this goes out to my Friends & Room-mates, Deb and Bret...KUDOS for being so awesome! Its been a privilege to know you and call myself your Friends! ~~~Don & Chance Henderson~~
