My second rant in two weeks I must be having a mid life crisis. Look out folks. AGAIN IM SICK TO DEATH WITH THE SERVICE THAT SOME PEOPLE PROVIDE IN THE ISLE OF MAN. I bought a car an older car in a garage took for run seemed OK. Agreed to buy after full service and valet. Asked to be told of any major defects. HUH!! now the fun starts. Get car home drives lovely as long as I dont go down hills. Come on we live in an hilly island...... ABS fault kicks in 2 1/2 tonnes sliding down road towards bus... ARGHHH... Dont know who was scared the most bus driver or me. Happened again on a separate occasion. SO TIME TO GO BACK TO GARAGE..... Owner Seemed ok at first, bring car in well look at it. OK I thought give them a chance. Took car in, no one looked at it. Quite cross as I wasted 2 1/2 hours wandering around with nothing to do waiting for my car. Managed to speak to owner who had an irate Mechanic on the phone shouting abuse, and Calling me THAT WOMAN!!!!! AND PLENTY MORE.... TO SAY THE LEAST I WASNT IMPRESSED.... (oh the mechanic had go out apparently to help his mate out on a broken down car) whilst mine was left... So Mechanic comes back, tries a pathetic apology, and moaning about the hours he has had to work... I made suggestions that I wanted my money back... NO CAN DO. Apparently they sell cars under auction basis... NO REFUNDS.. Given Courtesy car. NO FUEL IN IT. NOT THE BEST CAR TO DRIVE.. OWNER SAYS HELL SORT OUT BRAKES FAULT, OH AND BRAKE CYLINDER CAP TOO. After numerous phone calls today trying to source parts for the car myself, as garage was shafted on Ebay for a part... I was a little happier as I thought progress was being made. ONLY TO BE TOLD THIS AFTERNOON. MY CAR WILL BE OUT OF ACTION FOR 3-4 WEEKS AS PARTS HAVE TO COME FROM AMERICA. OH AND THE GARAGE MAY CLOSE FOR GRAND PRIX...... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Good job I still have my qashqui, just re taxed and insured it for my mode of transport until my car is fixed. I would love to name and shame this garage for selling this vehicle to me. I didnt expect a perfect car, but I did expect a Road worthy one. IF THE OWNER OF MECHANICS ARE READING THIS SHAME ON YOU GUYS.. ILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU AGAIN... LAST TIME I WAS TOLD I DIDNT RANT VERY MUCH. THIS TIME MY BLOOD IS BOILING....
