My set of instructions: You know, I often think about customers who never read the instructions we include with their butterfly kits yet they call and want to talk to us for a half hour or more, asking questions that were answered in the instructions. It isnt that I dont like to talk with our customers. Some of our customers have become wonderful friends and we talk just to talk. I know their family, so to speak, even though Ive never met them in person. Some I have met in person and some we visited just because we became friends through the farm. But the phone calls that ask questions that the instructions already answer ... look at it this way. One employee has only 480 minutes at work. If that employee talks to 16 customers for 30 minutes, she cannot do anything else at work that day. That is 8 hours of talking. Some days we ship over 70 packages. The math shows the problem. If people read the included instructions, most of the calls with questions about their orders would never be made. Knowing that the Bible is much like an instructions book and many of my problems would be avoided if I would just obey the instructions ... hmmm ... reckon God gets frustrated with me because I should have read and followed the instructions? ;)
