My sister, Linda Carter Gill, passed away quietly this afternoon, surrounded by her family. Wayne, Steven, Susan, Anne and I were all together in her room for most of the afternoon, and she spent her last hours listening to her favorite great choral works. I feel sure that Heaven will be filled with the magnificent organ music with which she blessed so many thousands for more than a half century. We appreciate your prayers. Many will remember Linda as the accompanist for the Farewell Minstrel. Rumor has it that a short bald guy with a big chest was heard rounding up the Warblers in Heaven with the message, Piano players here. Rehearsal at 7.
