My sister, Valerie, had her follow-up visit to her oncologist today to find out the latest test results in her fight against small cell cancer. First the great news: the radiation has killed off all cancer on Vals brain. That is truly a praise! But on a sad note; there is evidence of disease on two of her lymph nodes and her liver. Val will begin a new chemo next week. The process will be 5 days of chemo, off for 16 days, 5 days of chemo, off for 16 days and one more time 5 days of chemo. Then they will rerun MRI and body scans. Val, as always has a go fight attitude and we are cheering her on through it all. Thank you for those that checked on Val today and for all the great friends we have out there praying Val through this journey! We know our Lord is in control of our lives and I truly trust in HIM!!!!
