My sister in laws are thinking about starting a business, small for now, until we get Into the stickiness of vendors, contractors, lenders, etc. for now we were thinking starting small with home made knick knacks, signage, crosses, vases, maybe some toy boxes, vanities dressers with mirror: the larger items are either made starting from scratch or strips sanded and refinished to customers preferences. Below are some examples of things I have done here and there. This is Gabbys colorful nightstand. I also have one in the living room of natural finish and polyurethane finishing coat. Second, pics 5-7 are a small cross painted to fit your color preference, homemade grinder Salt and Pepper shakers (also available in different colors, wall decor that was stained, painted over, stained again and burned around the edges Pics 8-15 are vases with bamboo inside, small table center piece painted to match any room, small orange and white vase with thicker pieces also available in a variety of colors as well as the salt and pepper shakers I made. Pics 16-29 are some centerpieces I make and again of course these can be made to match any area with any colors. Also moss added at the bottom is also a nice touch. Pics 21-28 are pictures of a table a bought complete stripped it sanded it, applied several black and Gold colors and added the flor de leis Saints stickers. I made this for my husbands valentine present and I must say I was impressed. :) I also am working on a vanity for my bathroom and will post pictures as soon as I am complete. ***** our main reasons for first posting a few of these is to see if anyone would be interested in items such as these.
