My son came from Liberia adopted at 6 and had been walking for less than 2 years. He has microcephaly and profound hearing loss. When he first came home he could do NOTHING for himself. (Put in shoes, get a drink, etc) This morning as he was getting dressed for school; he put on All His clothes. got himself breakfast. Served himself water. Put his coat and backpack on. And scuttled out the door to his ride!
