My son is trying to raise money for very worthwhile charity here - TopicsExpress

My son is trying to raise money for very worthwhile charity here in our town; Pantry Packs, via a swim-a-thon. If you are so inclined, please take moment to read his fundraising letter: Every year my swim team does a swim-a-thon that has each volunteer attempt to swim for 200 laps in a 25 yard pool: That’s three miles! I commit to swimming the entire distance! This year’s swim-a-thon will raise money, 100% of which, will go to the HopeLink Pantry Packs organization. Pantry Packs is a charity that buys and collects food that they then distribute to individual children in our community that can’t afford meals on weekends. Each pack has enough food for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner. Pantry packs doesn’t have large corporate sponsors so they have to rely on local people in our community like you. Your donation is tax deductible. Their 503C number is 91-1061043. Please consider donating to my effort in the swim-a-thon to raise money for this local charity. To find out a little more about Pantry Packs, see their blog below. You can donate by check to me personally or online at: https://community.hope-link.org/ProSwimming, and indicate my name: Hayes Raubacher. Please consider submitting your donation for company matching funds too! Thank you for your consideration, Hayes Raubacher
