My son was bitten by a dog on his face. It was not the dogs fault. We did not have the dog put down. It had its shots. My son often went to play at the home of the dog that bit him. He loved the dog. Another child had stepped on the dogs tail so he bit my son. I taught my kids not to approach any dog until we knew it was safe. This poor dog was doing what he should have he was protecting his territory. My son was 4 when this happened. I know where I was when this occurred. As long the dog has had its shots there is no reason to put this dog down. The parents should have been paying attention to their child.
