My story with the aggression: “They tied my father’s hands and covered his head with a black bag. I was very scared. We all sat in the neighbor’s bathroom, everybody was crying. The soldiers broke into the neighbor’s home and I heard them say,(Sheket) which means shut up. We went to the top of the hill near the border. They took my grandfather and I saw him die by the tank’s belt. They shot him in the throat. When I saw him, I cried a lot. We shouted, “We are unarmed! Throughout the war, we were under siege eating only bread, tomatoes and chili” Name: Ahlam Mubarak Alshriehi Age: 5 years old My dream: I dream of becoming a doctor to treat people. The best of my life: when I came from Gaza to Khan Younis. The saddest day is the day of the war and the day my grandfather died. “Children of the Sea Memories” 2014
