My sunday sermon “It has served us well, this myth of Christ.” You know who said that? One of the leaders of the world’s most deceiving organizations in the history of the planet. Pope Leo IX… Why, of all people, would the leader of “Christ’s Church” say this? If it wasn’t true? They’ve been selling you (and I do mean literally) lies, since even before they became a religion. This, if I may take you back in time for a second, was not what you think. The Catholic Church was founded, as we know, in Rome. Now, I’ll hold you there for a second and remind you of what Rome was. 1. At the time, a very large empire, known for wiping out the people who disagreed with them. 2. Were the ones who carried out the crucifixion on our Lord and savior. Now, I say carried out. But what I mean is they killed Christ. Although He knew it would happen, although He knew it would end as such, they did it nonetheless. At the time of the writing of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jerusalem was under Roman control. Writing the books hoping to be published, the writers (who actually were NOT direct apostles to the Lord) knew they couldn’t deface Rome. In fact, they wanted to please them. So is it hard to believe they may have switched a few things up? Like, maybe, blaming the Jews for killing the Messiah? Stick with me here. History attests that Christ was persecuted at night time, during Passover, by the Sanhedrin. But hold the phone. Sanhedrin was forbidden to meet at night time. Also forbidden to meet on holiday. So how could they have persecuted Christ? If they had, and wanted Him to be killed like the bible says, they actually had authority to stone Him. Why not just do that instead of taking Him to the Romans? And if that got your mind jogging, Pontius Pilate never asked the Jews what they wanted done with Him! He never even gave them the choice between Barrabas and Christ. That, in fact, was against the Roman’s code of ethics. They’d never release a prisoner by choice of the Jews. And the crucifixion? A punishment historically known to be reserved for enemies of Rome. So after hearing that, you still think the Jews killed Christ? Rhetorical question. So, with that gathered, the Romans killed Christ. And this was where the “Church of Christ” was born. During a time period, where a man named Constantine was the Emperor of Rome. Constantine was written in the history books as the man who brought Rome to Christianity. Why was he only baptized on his deathbed? Where he was so deliriously in pain, and so disoriented he couldn’t properly resist? Constantine was no Christian. In fact, he was a prominent member of a pagan cult by the name of “Sol Invictus,” or “Invincible Sun”. As Christianity was being subtly formed across the land, Constantine was hard pressed to start believing this knowledge. History will paint the picture that he was Christian before he became Emperor, and tell you of his great battle triumph winning him the throne of Rome, with crosses ablaze on his army’s shields. Wrong yet again. After meeting with the council, they’d decided on numerous things. Meshing Sol Invictus holidays with Christian holidays for instance. Christ’s birthday was originally celebrated January 6th. December 25th was the day Sol Invictus celebrated the day where days became longer, so they could see their god more often. They also decided to associate, and in fact name Christ as the incarnation of Sol Invictus, and even used images of Sol Invictus to depict Christ’s appearance. And finally, decided to take the gospels and books of the bible these Christians were so enthusiastically worshipping, and shape them to fit their likings. Remove or add what they wanted. Constantine took out at least 18 books of the originally compiled books that formed the bible. Who knows what he may have added? Say, maybe even a few words that could change the whole book to shape the newly forming religion into the largest religious organization in the world, whose words eventually reached and deceived billions? Generating countless riches. Letting the dynasty of Rome live, long after it died. People are so quick to believe this organization, but how can you now knowing what made it? Knowing what even one of its own leaders has said? This is the real truth people. The stuff thousands of people died trying to reveal. The Crusades? Simply a slaughter of ‘heretics’ who threatened the power of the Catholic Church. Did you forget? The people of God suddenly succumbed to violence and murder? All to hide the truth that has been begging to come out for CENTURIES?? Well now it’s here folks! We have the truth! And nothing the Catholic Church can do will stop it from being revealed ever again. We bring this truth with no fear for our lives like those before us had to deal with. Because the time is NOW! The great deception, though you’ve kept your eyes open for it, was and is right beneath your nose, and has been this whole time. It is a sinking boat. Stay on it, or float on the truth from God. Live on, in the words of our creator. Amen.
