Vincennes University will sponsor an E-Recyling Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot across from the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center on Red Skelton Boulevard. The service is free but but a $5 donation is requested for all televisions and monitors. Accepted items include anything with an electric cord as well as bikes, batteries, Blue Ray discs, cardboard, cash registers, CDs/DVDs, cell phones, computers, copiers, CRT monitors (no bare tubes), electronic motors, electronic wiring, fax machines, game systems, floppy discs, glass (amber, green, clear only), integrated circuits, metals (aluminum, copper, brass, nickel), microphones, microwaves, motors, phone systems, phone books, plastics 1-7, power supplies and back-up systems, power cables, printers, scanners, satellite components, Styrofoam, surge protectors, toner cartridges, TVs, and VCR/DVD/CD/laserdisc players.
