My sweet, shepherding Dad on earth, Charles Brice Streety, born July 24, 1928 passed away last evening. He fell asleep while doing his favorite thing...watching Spurs basketball. One of the last spiritual readings he had told me of was from Martin Bentleys book, Save Yourself & Others Too! I was looking forward to a dance next month and so was he. In our Texas accents as kids, he was our "Deddy", then Dad, and lastly Poppy. His nickname, Pete by classmates from a role he had in high school play, stayed with all of us, Mom, business partners, church family and our small town of Luling Texas. Oh how my heart is aching and missing you. I love you, Dad. Pray you had a smoothe flight home. We will dance in heaven. We will.
