My take on THIRA- ADRENALINE RUSH!!! Vineeth Sreenivasans second directorial venture is a racy thriller which is heavily inspired from the Hollywood flicks TRADE and TAKEN n also the 2012 Malayalam movie KARMAYODHA..film tells the underrated crime world of human trafficking..Dr Rohini (Shobhana) is a social activist who shelters helpless girls. .her husband Dr.Pranab dies after an arrest n she determines to find out the culprits..Naveen (Dhyan Sreenivas)who is in search of his lost sister gets involved in the rescue operations planned by Dr.Rohini. .how they succeed in their mission is rest of the story. Positives-Shobhana is the USP of the movie. She enacts the key role with such an elan that mesmerizes one n all..she looks gorgeous n her dialogue delivery was simply outstanding..The second best thing is the DOP of Jomon T John. .some shots were breathtaking n reminds Hollywood thrillers..This is a directors film. .Vineeth can really proud of what he has created..in spite of the strong resemblances with so many films, he manages to provide a handsome product. .Dhyan s debut is fine if not magnificent. .he doesnt evokes any kind of not my island feeling. .Music deparyment handled by Shan was awesome..BGM was mindblowing at parts. .the climax is just a dot which is a perfect semi column for the expected second part in the announced triology Negatives- Script was not deep..the treatment conceals this issue to an extent. .but on a serious note, this is a real issue. . Verdict- The movie is brilliant. Vineeth once again proves that he is someone who can re-write the grammar of mollywood. .A must watch for the fans of thrillers..for others, watch it for Shobhana. .9/10
