My take on this Donald Sterling shit... Donald Sterling is an ass who has been propped up, coddled and enabled by the NBA owners and David Stern. For a league that can come down hard on Kobe Bryant for saying faggot, mandate that the negroes in its league dress up to not scare the white fan base, and suspend Ron Artest for 70+ games for trying to take the head off of a fan who threw a beer at him...surely they could have done something to a guy who the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE charged housing discrimination against and who basketball legend Elgin Baylor filed suit against for a hostile work environment. Sterling purposely treated the Clippers franchise and players like shit and underpaid them and didnt care about even having a competitive team until David Stern gifted him with Chris Paul. Even with Sterlings public record of discrimination and harassment, up until last Friday no one said a doggone thing...not the league, any of the players, Doc Rivers or the ridiculous LA NAACP. Everyone involved is culpable, and the only reason why we are all up in arms is because basically a chickenhead gold digger who could only be with Sterling for money recorded a private conversation. That somehow is more appalling than him discriminating against poor Black and Mexican people for decades and building an empire off of real estate and underpaid negroes running up and down the court. But Ill say this...if this tape is the #Catalyst for him to finally be banished from the league and to be shamed for the rest of his soulless life, so be it. Like the Academy awards Lifetime Achievement Oscars for Al Pacino (The Scent of a Woman) and Denzel (Training Day)...consider this a lifetime punishment for being a racist. Will be watching todays press conference to see if the league will do the right thing.
