My take on tonights Queen show- it was pretty much perfection. Of course NO ONE could ever take Freddies place but Adam Lambert sure did channel his inner Mercury (along w his inner George Michael ;) ). His voice is phenomenal. Period. Brian May and Roger Taylor seemed genuinely happy to be performing and they did not disappoint. Still the best band on the planet. This show was better than 06 because it was ALL QUEEN. I love me some Bad Company but not while Im at a Queen concert, ya know? The theatrics were amazing, lights, lasers, and the appropriate placement of some very sweet Mercury footage that made me cry. As the ultimate Queen fan, my only complaint was that they didnt play for 5 or 6 hours. A girl can dream, right? :)
