When you used the words ‘struggle with oneself’, I was wondering how many of you can summon up in front of you the actual experience of what is this struggle inside when is it really there: something inside oneself is saying that I cannot, I won’t I can’t accept this and one knows that one has got to go through with it. It can be much more attenuated in a very simple thing like deciding that one can be getting something to die within oneself because one knows that it has got to die.
