My theme for Throwback Thursday is KFIZ. Im sure some people here remember when the studios were located on the second floor of the old Reporter Building on the corner of E. First and Macy. Joe Goeser did a morning show and broadcast local sports. Engineers spun the records for the AM-only station, and announcers read the ads and introduced the songs. Ron Harvey had a music show, and teamed up with Goeser for Danny the Elf at Christmas time. Click on the individual pix to see a larger view.
