My theme song for 2014. A rough year. Some good friends and influences going before their time, double deck devil dealing with Washington and the media, still trying to get the Presidents stimulus package to stimulate me, to quote Guitar Shorty. I hope 2015 will be better. At least the music was better than ever.The band got tighter and I learned some new licks along the way. Even with some rocks in the passway there are some new songs on the horizon. Good to see The Rolling Stones Hyde Park show tonight. I can always trust the restorative power of The Rolling Stones. I would like to see this Glastonbury concert next. I was saying tonight that I wish that the Stones could have heard my friend Sandy Brown. I love Lisa Fischer, but Sandy could have given her a run for her money. The beauty of the music always wins out. 2015 will be a year of progression and concentration on things closer to home.
