My thoughts... From what I’ve seen on social media, it’s clear by the way people have interacted, that racism is alive and well. #grieved. America (all races)... needs tons of healing and to be empathetic to one another. If we don’t hear each other out and put down our stubborn biases, we’ll will never see peace. For Christians specifically, we should be gracious and seek to understand one another rather than try and be RIGHT! Jesus was RIGHT but became SIN (2 Corinthians 5:21) for our sake. That a level of love we should all take. Especially with our opinions. Christian means Christ like... Jesus should have belittle humanity... Instead he brought us into his family and made us kings. Who have you made a king? Who have you built up with your words? Does getting your point across really matter enough to belittle or hurt others feelings. If it does, then I pray you check your heart. Non believers mock us b/c we can tell them on paper what grace and love is but sometimes in our desire to be right, show no love or grace. Love on them. Build them up. The truth should set you free! Some of us are fighting for truth but its really our opinions and biases, not rooted in scripture.
