My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the 15 year old boy who was found dead on the cliffs of Point Fermin on Monday afternoon. I was shocked and extremely heartbroken to find out the boy was the son of a friend of mine. I volunteered with his father for several years at the Marine Mammal Care Center, and his mother is a local teacher. It just leaves me at a loss for words. He was a good kid with a bright future and loving parents. There arent many answers right now as to what happened, so the family has asked if anyone might know anything about his death to please contact detectives at 310 726 7900. R.I.P. Anderson Bard, you will be missed.
