My thoughts on Ebola..... In the handling of the crisis, the Federal Government, including the Center For Disease Control have shown how inept they are. I dont really believe that anyone knows exactly what is going on nor are they taking the issue seriously.......UNLESS.....it is being orchestrated and they are letting it play out exactly the way they are intending it to be. Flights are still going into and out of the affected countries. Those who are known to be showing signs of the virus are still flying commercially and taking trips on cruise ships. There are conflicting reports on whether or not the virus is airborne. Some are saying that it is and can spread via aerosol particles that disseminate via coughing or even breathing and can be spread within 3 feet of the person having the virus. Personally, I believe that regardless what the truth is, this issue needs to be taken very seriously until it is not an issue any longer, which at this point, nobody knows when that will be. When we stopped by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital yesterday, we pulled into the parking lot....the back of the parking lot.....and shot a video. The still photo that I posted earlier was taken from one of the videos we shot. We didnt come in contact with anyone. From the looks of things at the hospital, it was business as usual....people coming and going.....no hazmat suits.....no media of any kind staged around the place. If you didnt know what was going on, then you would have no idea what had transpired over the last couple of weeks at that place. Behind me...in the pic....is the emergency room entrance. I was flipping the channels the other day and the talking heads on FOX news would have you believe that there was mass hysteria and panic.....which is not the case....from what Ive seen. This is another reason, I believe, that the mainstream media is wanting to get everyone panic stricken over this issue.....and issue that, honestly, we dont know the depth of. Then Shepard Smith came on and said that there is no reason, whatsoever, to panic. I just had to laugh at all the mixed messages and confusion that these jacklegs are spreading. I also believe with some certainty that this is being orchestrated to take your attention off of other issues that are going on and to push through an agenda that they otherwise wouldnt be able to get away with. What were doing....... We are taking certain precautions that in the event that this does become a full-blown pandemic......and if it is, we should know that within the next several months......then well be prepared to hunker down and ride this thing out. We are working on strengthening our immune systems by taking vitamin C and D. We are washing our hands more frequently......Im already an OCD hand washer. We use hand sanitizer after touching door handles. We arent eating out......and this is simply because we are an hours drive from Texas Health Presbyterian and because they have no idea how many folks have been exposed at this point. We have a good supply (approximately 100) N95 Particulate Respirator Masks on hand in the event that it becomes necessary to run around looking like Michael Jackson. We are also continuing to increase our stock of food supplies, bleach, duct tape, plastic sheathing, plastic trash sacks, etc. (Ill post a more extensive list over the weekend after I put it together). We will not be taking any vaccine....period! Thats it......I dont know what else to tell you other than the obvious.....our country is being ran by a bunch of bozos who need their teeth knocked in. Dont panic.....dont believe and buy into the hype....follow your own instincts and prepare the best that you are able to. As it relates to the earlier pic.....I didnt touch anything but my door handle and Im not running any kind of fever. Keep your heads up folks....were smarter than they are! Much love to ya! ~ Hop
