My thoughts on the next election - next November many of us will be voting for members of congress. I think that most people will agree that when we send someone to congress, either to the house or the senate; we expect them to do their job - one is to take care of the American people by reading and rejecting or passing bills that will improve our lives. At election time, I hope that you will check and see if your representatives took the time to read the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) before they voted for it. Since the bill was over 2,000 pages and it was handed out 24 hours before the vote, if your representatives voted for it, they did not read it. - they did not do their job, they did not know what the bill included, they voted to appease their party not the American public. They were more concerned about their standings in the party than your welfare. This constitutes a fail, these people did not do their job and need to be fired by the people they failed. Anyone who voted for the bill is a politician not a true representative of the people they are supposed to serve. You may notice many of these politicians are now trying to distance themselves from their party.
