My trip to Texas. Even though I drove 1214 miles in 2 days, went 36 hours with NO sleep, and discovered I am miserably allergic to Texas, now. Im so blessed to have been there for my sister. After the year we have had, both of us losing a baby, and now being premie mothers, as well, the Lord has seen fit to bless us with miracles. Both Hudson & Kayleah are miracles. My sister was told she would never be able to have a baby, due to her diabetes. After a long stay in antipardom, diabetic complications, kidney failure, high blood pressure, and the beginning of preeclampsia, she is the proud mother of a 28week 6 day baby. At 2lb 7oz, Kayleah came into the world screaming. For those who are premie family, she was only ventilated to administer the serfactant. However, I took a bunch of pictures because you could see her face without the C-pap on. My sister was up & walking with no pain the next morning. After a dangerous c-section, she made recovery look easy.....She gets that from me ;) Lol
