My turn-10 things you may not know about me: 1. I was adopted-I am blessed to know most of my biological family. 2. I used to surf. I came close to numerous sharks and got to touch a dolphin once. 3. I was in the Army Reserve for 15 years and did stateside active duty during the Gulf War. 4. I really wanted to be a journalist when I was in high school… 5. I now write the monthly XFactor column in Indiana ABATE’s Hoosier Motorcyclist magazine and have written a number of other newsletters…have even considered writing a book. 6. I learned how to ride a motorcycle on a 750 rigid frame Triumph chopper when I was 19 by watching my first husband. 7. My childhood best friend, Louie, died in 1998 from complications of AIDS. I loved him like my brother and still miss him very much. 8. I used to be a hair stylist…and a dental technician. 9. I have 3 college degrees all in nursing. 10. I’m considering going back to school again LOL
