My twin sister, Carol Boothby Owens came home from the hospital after almost 3 months. Her journey was nothing less than miraculous. She was not expected to live, but she did not agree with that diagnosis. I dont believe we will ever know the why but somewhere deep down in her strength, she knew that she had much more to add to our mortal life. The past three months have tested my faith in GOD in a very positive way. So many people have prayed for Carols survival, and I am committed to the belief that GOD knew she had more to bring to those who love her and cherish her. I was not sure how I could live without her in my life...neither did Wes, or her mother or her brother, her sons Bran and Sean and everyone else in our family and friends. I am beyond grateful to everyone (Sis, Andrea Timpone, Marlene, Dewey, John Plank) who lit candles on a daily basis for Carols recovery. My half, my BFF is back home and ready to take on life again......Carol is the strongest person I will EVER know in my life.....Wes is the second strongest person I will ever know. I am eternally grateful....he NEVER gave up, and in the grand scheme of things, Wes should be awarded the husband of the year or the husband of the century. Life doesnt get any better than this. My half is home and getting stronger every day. Thank you to everyone for your prayers, your good thoughts and the encouragement throughout this ordeal.......we are blessed beyond belief!
