My veronicapullen.co.uk website has been hacked today - apparently they got in via Hostgators back end, and dropped malicious code into some of the pages! Which obviously led to Google blacklisting But fortunately, Ive got a website maintenance package with Jean Maund from justaskjean.co.uk for all 4 of my sites One email to Jean, and her and her team have fixed the issue, restored the site from backup and reindexed with Google. Just waiting for them to remove the blacklist now Ive had several emails from people trying to visit my site tonight and seeing the red screen of dread, and Im sorry if youve experienced issues too But Im extremely grateful for Jean, because right now, we could have been dealing with a huge disaster. I wouldnt have known where to start with fixing that, would you? But because of having her in my team, its been stress free (for me at least!) So, please, make sure your website is backed up! Do it now just in case your site is vulnerable and tomorrow is too late And if you want to insure yourself against having to deal with an attack alone, or paying £££ for an emergency repair, speak to Jean about her maintenance service.
