My very first school and neighborhood landmark is getting a face lift. This place shares of the first and fondness memories of my childhood which also helped form my life. It literally brought tears to my eyes as I remember the times and people (Many have passed away) if you were there you may remember Mr. Edwards, Miss Baugh, Mr. Morris or the taste of those fabulous Butter cookies or the Orange Juice bars the line in the middle of the school yard separating the boys and girls the kick ball games, playing tag on the roof a game we tagged as Flying Tigers or running for a touchdown in a game of pick up football on the slanted front lawn, Saturdays in the Big School Yard playing basketball with my boys Andre Price, IV Victor Amerson, The Waters Brothers, George Ray & Duckie, Keith Burroughs ect...Many remember there Sixth Grade Graduation.......Yeah I told you this place had some Magic memories so hey sit for just a few minutes and let your mind roam you may cry a little and laugh a little I did.
